Jubilee Park, Glandore

by - 4:05 PM

Now that my 10-month-old has mastered her walking and has levelled up on her exploring, I'm constantly on the hunt for toddler-friendly parks. Plus points if they're only a very short drive away. So I thought it would be good to share our little adventures on the blog so I can always go back to them when I run out of ideas. On this day, we were off to visit family in Glandore so we checked out Jubilee Park so our little one can have some fun first.
Jubilee Park, Glandore

Location

15A Wellington St, Glandore SA 5037

Only about 10 minutes drive from the CBD, the park is tucked quietly in a suburb where you could easily miss it if you don't actually look for it. Fenced and with a small carpark, it's only a small park but the recently upgraded play area is sure to get your toddler excited.

Facilities

I didn't spot a toilet. And the park is small enough that you could easily see everything in one 360° gaze. But it did have one BBQ grill and a couple of shaded spots to sit in. We thought this would be a perfect place to host a small party.

The Play Area

With a jungle theme, I felt that the area was well-designed and well thought through. It had something for toddlers and something for the bigger kids too. There were two slides with the tube slide big and fun enough for a big kid (*cough me cough*). To get up the slide, there was a ladder as well as an option to climb up those frog foot holds. Those frog holds I found were a bit painful to grasp for someone like me who doesn't have the best arm strength but my husband pushed me up. Lol.

For the little kids, there were bouncy animals, a car, and a swing. For bigger kids, there was a monkey bar, trampoline, rock climbing, and bike tracks.

I thought this park was super cute and we'll certainly be back. Have you been to this park before?

Share this post with a mum who would love to take her toddler here and maybe set up a playdate or two.

Always,
Jeanne
