Ultimate Comfort for the Uni Girl

by - 8:01 PM

Since my style is more feminine and preppy, this is really as grunge as I can get. This style became a staple for me last month - back when it was still transitioning from really hot to a bit cold in Adelaide. I needed to be comfortable enough to run back and forth to uni while we were accomplishing things off our checklist of requirements. The long sleeved tops kept me warm when the wind decided to blow, but it was easy enough for me to take off when it got really hot too.

Plaid top - H&M, Iron Man Muscle Tee and High Waist Shorts - Forever 21, Sneakers - Rubi by Cotton On
You first saw this iron man muscle tee in my post HERE where I styled it with a skirt. I just love how this top is so fun and easy to style.
Now, this second outfit is another version of the top + shorts + long sleeved top + sneakers formula. Since I paired it with a sexier camisole top, I figured I could get away with wearing a more masculine pair of kicks - perfect for a full day of walking around the city.
Cami and shorts - Forever 21, Chambray - Terranova, Shoes - New Balance
And hurrah, this is the second time I'm featuring the streets of Adelaide on the blog! Now I don't know about you, but I was pretty surprised that this structure that looks like a castle is actually a university. So pretty! Makes me think about royalty.
Do you like outfit combinations like these too? :)

  7. That's definitely a comfortable wardrobe staple. I love both outfits but I think the second one is more of my style. I didn't think navy blue and black would fit so well together, but you're so well-put and chic in that attire. :)
