Inner West Domestics has just launched in Adelaide and they have so kindly gifted this mama with a General Clean. Already established in Sydney and Melbourne, they have expanded their services to Adelaide.
Several things have pushed me to declutter my wardrobe lately. My postpartum self has realised a couple things: 1. Those clothes that I haven't worn in the last 3 years - I surely won't be wearing them now. 2. The 'new me' has realised there are clothes that are no longer my style and I certainly won't be wearing those anymore either. So this collaboration has come at the perfect time as I am in the process of organazing my wardrobe. Read on for a few tips on decluttering and organizing.
Always,
Jeanne

Any first-time mum would be very excited to buy all sorts of clothes for baby's wardrobe. Most especially if you're having a girl. It can be tempting to buy tutu skirts, frilly blouses, every closet item in pink, and don't forget - all types of ribbons and headbands! Perhaps you would expect that I, a girl who likes to blog and take Instagram photos, would buy every single thing I can think of for my baby's closet. But that's not actually the case. I like to think I'm a lot more practical than that. So what do I actually look for when buying clothes for my baby? Read on.

I can't deny it, I'm currently hooked on the paper bag pants trend. While I know that jeans are absolutely fashionable when they fit right, the autumn and winter season - where I am clad in them all the time because it's cold - is enough for me. And now that it's spring, I'm glad to be in lighter and more comfortable material. Still, it's a little bit too windy to be dressing in shorts. Here is where trousers are perfect - or more specifically, paper bag pants!

I can’t believe it’s been almost a
year since my husband and I moved from a unit we rented and into our first
home. I still remember packing everything up, unpacking, and moving in. It was
such an exciting milestone in our lives and it feels surreal to look back. Are
you moving into your first home soon? This collaboration couldn’t have come at
a better time. The article below will share a few tips to make the process
easier.
Always,
Jeanne

After spending 3 days in Seminyak (check out our Seminyak Itinerary and Budget Breakdown here), we continued on our Bali holiday and transferred to Ubud. While Seminyak brought us close to the beaches, Ubud was filled with lush, green sceneries - but still filled with plenty of private swimming pools and relaxing massages of course. We were in Bali for some much needed rest and relaxation after all. While our holiday involved plenty of lounging, and massages, and naps, and doing absolutely nothing (can I get a yaaazzzz?), we made sure to include some activities and things to do in Ubud. Check out my activity choices for a relaxed Ubud vacation suitable for a 4-day itinerary:

As I've mentioned in the blog many times before, I've always had a knack for wearing my boyfriend's/husband's watches as an accessory that immediately spices up my outfit as wearing men's watches always does. This time, I am featuring a women's watch with pink details. But hold up, it's no ordinary watch - it's a stylish wooden watch from Konifer with an ebony band.

Do you need a reason (or an excuse) to take a break from
work and sign that annual leave form? I'm just relaxing here with my Rosegal floatie but I got you, boo! I’ve always been one for
work-life balance. So here's 7 reasons why you should take that much needed break and have a holiday.

It's Spring in Australia. The sun has come out to play, and so have I. Off we went for a quick road trip down south of Adelaide to pay the Fleurieu Peninsula another visit.

It's quite amazing that despite living in Adelaide for over 2 years, I had yet to visit the state library of South Australia. On this day, I decided to make like Dora and take my mini leather backpack exploring.

Getting our own place and moving into an area with my friends as neighbors has somehow made me feel like a character in Desperate Housewives for a second - without the extreme drama. Sometimes I still feel like my husband and I are just kids playing house and pretending to be grown ups. But wait, I guess I AM grown up, and I've become domesticated! *gasp!* Ever feel the same? If you can relate to these 20 things, then you're definitely currently #adulting like me.

Editing these photos had me singing, "Are we out of the woods yet (3x)?" Just because, well, I was literally in the woods for this shoot. Hence this motivational post about what to do to get through a challenge because we all go through challenges in life where we feel like we are in the woods and the bright light at the end is nowhere in sight. Whether your current challenge is striving towards graduation, that thesis, that new job you want to excel in, a new business venture, a paradigm shift - whatever you're going through right now, read on.

My square prints from Printiki couldn’t have arrived at a
better time! K and I moved back to Adelaide and I couldn’t wait to make the
place our very own and I badly wanted to have our photos printed out. We’ve gone
through beautiful milestones, adventures and travels together as a couple and I
thought printing them out in the cutest square prints would be the perfect way
to tell a story.

I was thinking Asian school-girl inspired outfit when I impulsively chose this striped kitten tee and colour block midi skirt twinset and wingtip round toe tie up flat shoes. Didn't turn out quite how I'd imagined.

Finally had a weekend off and took the opportunity to drive back to Adelaide. It was a Saturday night so I arranged for my friends and I to have some fun at Adelaide's board game cafe, The Hungry Hippo. Oh yes, I'm a nerd and this is my idea of fun. Haha. I had been meaning to visit this cafe for ages. The reviews have always been good - saying that the food is as good as the games. And it's true!

The tourists are beginning to swarm Moonta. Summer has just about begun and because it's warm now, 'tis the season for crabbing and fishing. Meanwhile, us "locals" (okay, we've been here only a little over 2 months), continue on with our daily lives. Okay, maybe I'm actually sort of a tourist too. I'm still in the process of discovering what this little town has to offer and food is usually #1 on my priority list.

The best thing about fall fashion is that it's so easy to change your look by changing your layers. (Although we're approaching summer in Australia, it's autumn in other parts of the world..) So here's a post where I'm wearing the exact same outfit and transformed it to a whole different look by simply changing jackets and shoes.

I've never thought I was particularly a "city girl" but I've never thought I would be a "country girl" either. Perhaps I've got too much city in me to be country, and perhaps country is too quiet for me to give up the city. If you've been following this blog for a while, you'd know I moved from the busy city of Cebu to starting a new life in Adelaide. This time, I moved 2 hours away from Adelaide, to a tiny town called Moonta for a work opportunity. I'm still in the process of adjusting to country life.
