It's Spring in Australia. The sun has come out to play, and so have I. Off we went for a quick road trip down south of Adelaide to pay the Fleurieu Peninsula another visit.
The last time we were here, we were celebrating our anniversary at McLaren Vale. This time, we began our trip driving down Sellicks Hill. I was in search of the beautiful almond trees but alas, they were not yet in bloom, so we made a quick stop by these vineyards instead.
Vineyards always make for a pretty backdrop so I went traipsing down in this blue wrap dress in true Spring style.
We then drove for another 10 minutes to get to Port Willunga Beach and started down the walking trail.
And yes, I changed outfits, because a blogger's got to do what a blogger's got to do. Lol. I thought this yellow floral dress was perfect for this sunny Spring day by the beach.
There was an underwater heritage trail at the site of the Star of Greece shipwreck and there was also this interesting formation which somehow reminds me of The Mummy movies for some odd reason.
After some more walking, it was time for some food. It would be easy to have a fancy lunch at the Star of Greece restaurant by the beach but instead, we drove for 5 minutes to get to Home Grain Bakery at Aldinga.
The pies were supposedly really good and their vanilla slice was said to be the best - they sure did not disappoint! What is it about outer suburb bakeries? They always serve the most delicious food.
It's been such a lovely day and I can't wait for our next mini adventure.
