Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong (Review)

Hey!

It has been forever since a blog post from me but here I am. I have missed you, blog!

Today, we're talking about our recent staycation at Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong. We have been so fortunate to be invited to stay there during the school holidays. And you know I love a good hotel staycation.

Here's 5 Reasons Why We Loved Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong (in no particular order)

1. Clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing interiors with attention to details

Modern, minimalist, and clean - that's how I like it. The rooms were spacious. We had 2 adjoining rooms each with king beds which made our stay so comfortable. I also appreciate details like the good toiletries and 'superfood' skincare.

2. Delicious breakfast buffet

I don't know about you but I always look forward to hotel breakfast buffets. A full spread always gets me excited. The breakfast buffet here included hot meal options like bacon and sausages while also including options like pastries, yogurt, fruit, and even cold pressed juices, and congee.

3. Indoor heated pool

Ah yes, another one of my personal requirements when I'm looking for a hotel to stay in. Especially more important now that we have kids who love to swim.

4. Convenient location

The hotel was a very short walk to nearby restaurants. We especially loved walking to Augustus, a nearby gelato place! It was also a very short drive to a Westfield mall and also the esplanade. You could probably walk all that way if you wanted to but with little kids, we chose to drive.

5. Kid-friendly

You check in to the hotel and the kids get a "passport" and a little activity book present. They also got cupcakes as sweet treats. The hotel had also set up a cinema room with movies on (and popcorn!) as well as crafts and toys. Plus, kids eat and stay for free during the school holidays. How good!

I absolutely loved our stay at the hotel and it made our first time visiting Geelong absolutely amazing.

*While our stay at the hotel was a gifted/hosted stay, all words and opinions are my own.*
