Finally had a weekend off and took the opportunity to drive back to Adelaide. It was a Saturday night so I arranged for my friends and I to have some fun at Adelaide's board game cafe, The Hungry Hippo. Oh yes, I'm a nerd and this is my idea of fun. Haha. I had been meaning to visit this cafe for ages. The reviews have always been good - saying that the food is as good as the games. And it's true!

The cafe opens at 5 PM on Saturdays so I had the time to shoot these photos at Victoria Square. I MISS YOU, Adelaide, I really do.
For a relaxed and casual day of walking around the city and game night, I had to be in a comfortable (but cute) outfit. Thanks to Zaful for my striped long sleeved boyfriend shirt, ripped denim cutoffs, and blush bomber jacket.
This pink bomber jacket easily became a favorite just because it's so "me". Cute and casual since it's a bomber jacket but classy and feminine because of the blush color and silky fabric. While it's a little too big for me, this jacket will definitely be a staple during colder days.
Also got this plaid tassel shawl scarf from Zaful which was too thick for the sunny weather, but I'll definitely be styling it for the winter.
Food was awesome - the menu consisted of unique flavours that people might not be used to but I loved it. You pay $5 per person to play games, this charge is separate from your food, which I really didn't mind. They have a very large collection of games (that you can also purchase at discounted prices) and the staff were incredibly helpful - helping our indecisive group pick out a game and set it up. Unfortunately, despite the large space, it was fully booked on a Saturday night! I made the mistake of not making a reservation but thankfully the staff accommodated us for 3 hours. Yey! I'm definitely going back. (And making a reservation this time.) 😃
