Maternity Clothing from Pink Blush [REVIEW]

by - 8:26 PM

As much as possible, I try to avoid buying maternity-specific clothing as I hate the idea of buying clothes that I will no longer get to use after a few months. However, it's gotten harder to do this while accommodating my ever growing bump. Also, it's so hard to find good maternity wear! And I know I'm not the only one who feels this way as I see a fellow mum-to-be complain about this on forums everyday. Enter, Pink Blush. I feel like maternity-specific clothing stores are a rarity. In today's blog, I feature two pieces from Pink Blush that's so easy to wear and love.
Mauve Off Shoulder Maxi Dress

Let's start with this mauve off shoulder maxi dress. This one is perfect for a party or more dress-up occasion, and also perfect for maternity photoshoots. I would love to use this to a special event or maybe even a date night.

Material/Quality/Price

- 95% Rayon, 5% Spandex
- I love how the material "drops" and allows for a majestic feel, and also, has plenty of grace for twirling! It's double lined and not sheer at all. I was impressed by the quality of this dress. I see plenty of dressier maternity dresses that are ridiculously priced, and this is not one of them! You get great quality for the price you pay and I would recommend this for your maternity photoshoot for sure. The material is actually so beautiful that it would be quite comfortable to even lounge in it.

Next, I wanted a casual piece that I could wear out anywhere - to church, the mall, a lunch date, or even a doctor's appointment. This black floral cinched maternity dress is casual enough but pretty enough to dress up or down and is definitely something I will be using and abusing for the rest of the third trimester.

Black Floral Cinched Maternity Dress

Material/Quality/Price

- 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex
- Much like the first dress, this one is double-lined to prevent sheerness. It's definitely a dress you can throw on and go. The floral print makes it so pretty while the short sleeves and silhouette make it casual enough to take anywhere. The quality of Pink Blush's pieces have definitely impressed me so far. Normally priced at $48, this one is currently on sale for $26 which is a definite bargain if you ask me!

I have a good feeling that because both dresses are cinched and flowy, I can still wear them well after having my baby. And also, Pink Blush has plenty of non-maternity clothing selections too!

PS: I'm hosting a giveaway on my Instagram page in partnership with Pink Blush. We're giving away a $75 voucher to the lucky winner. Head over to Instagram for the mechanics! Contest ends October 31, 2019.

Always,
Jeanne
