After 2 years of living in Australia, I finally went on my first camping adventure. As a complete beginner (okay yes, I've been a pampered little princess all my life), the experience was new and exciting, What better place to try it out than at Innes National Park in Marion Bay, Yorke Peninsula, South Australia?

When my family came to visit from America, we made sure to travel to Sydney, go around Adelaide, and for our last stop: Melbourne. Because we had kids with us, this is a family-friendly Melbourne itinerary which includes Peninsula Hot Springs, Enchanted Adventure Garden, and the 12 Apostles at the Great Ocean Road. We also traveled during winter last year but this itinerary can be easily done during all 4 seasons.

Day 1-2: THE CITY - Melbourne CBD

I was thinking Asian school-girl inspired outfit when I impulsively chose this striped kitten tee and colour block midi skirt twinset and wingtip round toe tie up flat shoes. Didn't turn out quite how I'd imagined.

I first read about the existence of pink lakes in 2014 on Gary Pepper Girl. Still, I had to gasp when I saw it for myself. Lo and behold, a body of water in my favorite color. Almost unreal, yet there it was. I'd run in and bathe in its candy-colored glory but as they say, beauty is deceiving.

While my 2015 was a year of hard work and challenges (I left home and moved to Adelaide, went back to uni and graduated, got engaged, got married, and balanced uni work and life), 2016 is where I got to reap what I sowed. The Lord has been so incredibly good to us. The past few years of my life, I am repeatedly reminded to just have faith.

Finally had a weekend off and took the opportunity to drive back to Adelaide. It was a Saturday night so I arranged for my friends and I to have some fun at Adelaide's board game cafe, The Hungry Hippo. Oh yes, I'm a nerd and this is my idea of fun. Haha. I had been meaning to visit this cafe for ages. The reviews have always been good - saying that the food is as good as the games. And it's true!
